Chamois kitchen cabinets are constructed from fully recycled timber panels. Our cabinet doors are made from a combination of recycled timber and wood certificated by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). We're living proof that you can use post-consumer waste to manufacture high-quality kitchens - a truly sustainable option.

FSC certification means that the wood has been harvested from sustainable and managed forests which are certain to replenish their trees over a long-term basis. By choosing Chamois, you can be sure that you're not contributing to the destruction of the world's forests.

Our company appreciates that forestry still has a vital part to play - demand for timber products always far exceeds supply. We believe in making sensible economic and ecological choices that the planet can afford.

design for life
spot the difference
waste not, want not

So let's use virgin timber for higher added-value
applications, such as construction finishes.
That puts more money in the pockets of the forestry
industry and will protect their economy. And by
recycling for joinery, we can leave more wood in
the forests - and offset deforestration across the globe.
Let's save trees wherever we can.

At Chamois, we're taking our green dreams a step further, by creating the "Chamois forest". We're supplying our housing association and local authority clients with a tree to plant.
Over time, our partners will work with us to develop a
physical and visual reminder of the importance of protecting
the environment. The very first tree was planted by Wrekin
Housing Trust in April 2007, and we look forward to seeing
our forest spring into life in the months and years to come.
